Melissa Blue
Plebejus melissa
Like Clemence's Blue, Melissa Blue is a species with few recent sightings. However sites along the Salinas River near King City and San Lucas, from where confirmed records have been verified in museums, are extensive and rarely visited. Concentrated effort by teams of volunteers at the appropriate season are likely needed to confirm its continued presence.
